Oshchadbank
In 1991, Ukraine seceded from the Soviet Union and declared its independence. With the declaration of independence of Ukraine, the Oschadbank is separated from the “Sberbank” of the USSR. On December 31, 1991, Oschadbank was registered with the National Bank of Ukraine as an independent banking institution - the State Specialized Commercial Savings Bank of Ukraine. It was formed on the basis of the institutions of the “Oschadbank” of the former USSR in Ukraine, whose predecessor was the State Labor Savings Bank of the USSR.
By the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of May 21, 1999, pursuant to the order of the President of Ukraine of May 20, 1999, the State Specialized Commercial Savings Bank of Ukraine was transformed into the Open Joint-Stock Company State Savings Bank of Ukraine (abbreviated as Oschadbank). Pursuant to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated April 6, 2011 № 502 “On Amendments to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of February 25, 2003 № 261 dated June 7, 2011” the state registration of amendments to the Charter of Oschadbank OJSC was carried out. In accordance with paragraph 4 of the Charter of JSC "Oschadbank" full name of the bank: Public Joint Stock Company "State Savings Bank of Ukraine", abbreviated - JSC "Oschadbank". License of the National Bank of Ukraine № 148 dated October 5, 2011 for the right to conduct banking operations. The founder of the bank is the state represented by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
